Harry Steven “Steve” Bartlett was born in Los Angeles, California in 1947 and grew up in Lockhart, Texas. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 1971, he served on the Dallas City Council from 1977 to 1981, in the U. S. House of Representatives from 1983-1991 and as Mayor of Dallas, Texas from 1991 to 1995. He is the President and CEO of the Financial Services Roundtable.
